About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W912CH-25-R-0142, issued by the U.S. Army's Detroit Arsenal on March 24, 2026. The amendment extends the proposal due date by 30 calendar days from March 11, 2026, to April 10, 2026, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time. The solicitation seeks firm fixed price supply contracts for Housing, Mechanical Drive units (NSN 3040-01-134-6589) applicable to Bradley Fighting Vehicles (M2/M2A1/M2A2 and M3/M3A1/M3A2 variants). The contract includes a base requirement of 110 units with an option for an additional 110 units, to be delivered FOB Destination to Texarkana, Texas. The Government Solicited Delivery Schedule requires completion of the base quantity no later than 240 days after contract award and the option quantity no later than 240 days after exercise of option, with no specified monthly delivery rates required.

The amendment updates the solicitation by incorporating recent FAR compliance updates and mandatory clauses effective February 2026, including additions related to contractor identification, security prohibitions, safeguarding of contractor information systems, rights in bid or proposal information, and limitations on use of government-furnished information. Several outdated clauses were deleted, and Section F (delivery schedule instructions) was revised to allow offerors to propose accelerated delivery schedules at no additional cost. Proposals must be submitted electronically via email to Contract Specialist Nicholas Lang (nicholas.a.lang.civ@army.mil) in Microsoft Office 2013 or PDF format with a maximum file size of 10 megabytes. Evaluation will be based on delivery schedule and price, with price being significantly more important than delivery schedule. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government based on the trade-off analysis of these two factors.
