About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation W912CH-25-Q-0085, issued by the United States Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA). The solicitation is for a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), One-Time Buy with a 100% option for a Mortar Mount (NSN: 1010-01-521-1614, Part No.: 11579090). The procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and requires Joint Certification Program (JCP) Export Control certification.

The Q&A document specifically addresses Proof Acceptance testing (Live Fire Testing) for the Mortar Mount. The government confirmed that STM-13 Proof Acceptance testing is required per the Quality Assurance Procedure (QAP) and Technical Data Package List (TDPL), with each M170 BIPOD to be tested and inspected in accordance with MIL-M-63221. The response indicates that test costs should be included in the contractor's solicitation response, with the ultimate determination at the discretion of the government buyer. Interested parties must request technical data package access via SAM.gov and have JCP certification to participate in the solicitation.
