RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

3. Assuming that the existing equipment must stay in operation during the installation of the new panel hardware, will the switch over new hardware

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

4. to the new panels need to be accomplished off-shift during the night? Or any other time of day as needed?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

5. What is the maximum time that the individual equipment pieces may be shut down?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

6. Would it be preferable to change hardware breakers 1 breaker at a time or do the whole panel at 1 time?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

7. As stated in the SOW 1.5.5.3 to reuse existing stainless steel covers when possible. If we need to use new covers we need to provide for covers

RESPONSE: The contractor shall provide the new covers

8. for use in a “sterile environment” . Is this intended for any purpose of any type or Class of Clean Room, or hospital room, or food prep area, or is it

RESPONSE: The equipment to be repaired is located within hospital operating rooms.

9. intended just to be able to clean the panels? Are the rooms the panels in need any specific levels of cleanliness during construction & demolition?

10. If the contract is 60 days long, and we must commence work in 10 days after notice to proceed and the client wants a 30 day notification before starting work, could we ask the client if they could wave the 30 day notification requirement, and assume that by giving us Notice To Proceed, they could be ready within 10 days to allow us to proceed directly on the first room of panels?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

11. What is their anticipated turnaround time for a room? Would 1 room / week be ok? My assumption would be 1 room /week for 8 weeks with 1st day set up containment, 2nd day demo out old panel guts & install new guts, 3rd reconnect & terminate wires, 4th day take down containment & clean up, 5th day hospital housekeeping perform their sterilization cleaning ( on their budget).

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

12. What level of cleanliness is required after our demobization from each room. Will the hospital housekeeping perform the final cleaning / disinfections?

13. May be able to condense the schedule more than this if required, but would this be acceptable? This would allow for a week of float at the end and some flexibility in scheduling the room dates.

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 002.

14. Typically, how quickly can electrical subcontractors employees, electricians and laborers, get through their background checks and be approved to work on site?

RESPONSE: The hospital does not require background checks for this task order.

15. Once we take a panel down, will it need to be back on line by the end of the work day?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 0002.

16. Is this work to be performed during regular working hours? If not, what hours will be set aside for this work?

RESPONSE: Will be answered by amendment 0002.

17. Is this a simple disconnect of existing panel interiors and reconnect of new ones without having to identify or replace existing wiring?

RESPONSE: Replacing existing wire is not necessary. The contractor is to remove the existing hardware only within the box and replace.

Existing wiring is as indicated in facility as-builts included in DIV

01 APPENDIX A.

18. How will unforeseen, pre-existing conditions be addressed if once a panel cover is removed, we find wiring needing to be repaired or replaced?
