The contractor shall provide launch and van/transportation services from the drop-off point at the end of the Dredging Sea Trials back to the contractor’s facility for all personnel on the sea trial, and include this cost in the cost of Clause H-101.
3. DOCKING AND UNDOCKING INSPECTION AND OPERATING
REQUIREMENTS
The contractor shall perform an inspection of the drydock immediately prior to the docking and the undocking of the vessel. The contractor’s representative, Dockmaster, Captain, Chief Engineer and the COR shall jointly perform these inspections in accordance with the requirements listed under Clause H-
101. All deficiencies must be corrected to the satisfaction of all concerned prior to the docking and/or undocking sequences commencing.
Transfer of any fluid while on drydock, movement of any vessel equipment and removal and reinstallation of any component of the vessel as part of the repairs listed herein shall be coordinated with the Dock Master in order to maintain stability of the vessel while in the drydock.
TP-7 WORKMANSHIP & CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR UTILITIES AND SERVICES
All Utilities and Services necessary to perform and complete the work listed in the repair Clauses shall be included in the price bid for that item. This includes any and all services and any all labor trades necessitated by these Technical Provisions and by OSHA, EPA, USCG and the ABS in order to safely complete the work listed herein.
B. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESS
After careful planning and subject to the approval of the COR, the Contractor may cut and/or remove plating or framing members from the vessel for access to machinery, piping, wiring and equipment. Wherever possible, the contractor shall identify and use previously made accesses. Under the same conditions, the Contractor may also remove piping, wiring, fixtures, fittings, etc., for access and clearance to perform required work.
At the completion of required work, all removals shall be restored. Replacement shall consist of returning the removed equipment, piping, wiring, structural members and plating to their original locations and reinstallation.
