About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) containing vendor questions and government answers for Solicitation Number W9127S25Q0026 for Solid Waste (Refuse) Removal at Beaver Lake. The RFI provides critical details about waste management requirements, including that the contractor will provide 30-yard roll-off dumpsters for campgrounds and recreation areas, with dumpsters remaining at designated locations until removal is requested. The schedule involves specific emptying calendars for different parks, with most following a similar schedule, though some parks have unique timing; notably, the project office and Powerhouse are only emptied once per month.
Key requirements include submitting a monthly route in a word document, reporting exposure hours directly on invoices, and understanding potential hazardous waste risks in public dumpster areas. There is no recycling scope included in this contract. The solid waste removal services will be performed at Beaver Lake and Dam and USACE Beaver Project Offices in Arkansas, with performance dates spanning from the date of award through 31 December 2029, issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Little Rock.

W9127S25Q0026 Solid Waste (Refuse) Removal
Requests for Information (Vendor Questions & Government Answers)
1. There is not a recycle scope.
2. The schedule calendars break out which parks are emptied on which days. For the most part, all parks will follow a similar schedule. However, some parks close earlier than others, so they have a different calendar created for their own schedule. The project office and Powerhouse only get dumped once per month, which is listed on the calendars.
3. We do not have flexibility in our scheduling.
4. A word document outlining the monthly route will be fine. The best way to report exposure hours is to have it listed on the invoice. They should be turned in at the same time.
5. These dumpsters are placed in our campgrounds and recreation areas with the intent to gather general refuse generated while recreating on Beaver Lake. However, since they are in public areas, there is always the chance that someone will bring something hazardous into these areas to deposit in the dumpster.
6. The vendor will provide the 30-yard roll off dumpsters. When a roll off dumpster is needed, we will contact the contractor and request the dumpster to be delivered. The dumpster will remain at that location until we request the dumpster to be removed.
7. A map has been uploaded to the posting.
