SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE SUMMARY OF CHANGES

1. Questions and Answers:

Q: Where should we include the additional party chiefs, CAD Techs, and survey techs lists?

Should this list go in Section E right after the required resumes?

A: Yes, the additional party chiefs, CAD Techs and survey techs list should go in Section E after the required resumes.

Q: Noticed that in the selection criteria, items C & F have the same title (although different information is required). Will the USACE be amending the titles or should we address them as they are?

A: Section F title, "Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time" is removed and deleted. Section F is revised to read as follows:

F. Volume of DOD contract awards in the last 12 months: Considerations may include: (1) Equitable distribution of contracts among qualified A-E firms (2) CPARS retrievals; and (3) Current workload. In Section H of the SF 330, prime firms must show their last 12 months of Federal contract awards, including contract number, dollar amounts, and numbers of separate contracts or task orders.

All work under this contract is subject to satisfactory negotiation of individual task orders. The evaluation will consider the experience of the firm and the availability of an adequate number of personnel in key disciplines to insure that the selected A-E firm can meet the potential of working on multiple tasks. The evaluation will consider education, training, registration, overall and relevant experience, and longevity with the firm.

Q: In reference to total page count, are dividers in the hard copy submittal counted as pages (e.g.

1 divider ~ 8 x 11 ½ sheet = 2 pages)?

A: Dividers in the hard copy is not included in the overall page count.

Q: If a page is blank, does it count toward the total count (e.g. submittal limited to 85 pages = 42 ½ ~ 8 x 11 ½ sheets = actual 43 ~ 8 x 11 ½ sheets or 86 pages)?

A: Blank pages do not count toward the overall page count.

Q: Do front/back covers and section tabs count in our 85 page limit? If so, even as a section tab is slightly larger than a standard page, can it still be considered one page?

A: Front/back covers and section tabs are not included the overall page count.

A: No, font and size is not a hard rule as long as the submittal is legible.

Q: Can submittals be hand-delivered to the contracting office?

A: Yes, submittals can be hand-delivered the contracting office.
