The briefing contained the purpose of the pre-proposal conference, ground rules, statement of need, contract type, contract terms and conditions, quote submission instructions, technical/performance quote, quote evaluation, quote shortfalls, schedule, and contact info. Mr. Mike Mitchell had a question related to registration for Tammy.
Michael Richards welcomed everyone to the Beaver Project Office after Tammy was finished with her presentation.
Mr. Richards identified himself and introduced Michael Hurley and Landon Thurman.
Michael Hurley began on page 1 of the Description/Specifications/Work Statement and read through all clauses through page 9. All details of the PWS were covered including hours of operation, safety requirements, definitions, Govt. furnished property, Contractor furnished property, specific tasks, etc. A few questions were asked by the contractors. Mr. Brad Spradlin asked if high lake levels were covering the portion of boundary when they went through, and later became exposed as the lake receded, would they be required to return and maintain that portion of line. Michael Richards indicated he would ask the KO and respond to their question.
Michael Hurley also showed several photos as examples past boundary maintenance and monumentation. Michael also mentioned the terrain at Beaver is steep and rugged and that would need to be considered when submitting a proposal.
The meeting adjourned at approximately 1030 hrs.
