STATEMENT OF WORK
Purchase of a Replacement Trackwheel Assemblies for the John Day Navigation Lock Downstream Gate
Scope:
This scope of work (SOW) covers the purchase and shipment of the components listed below.
a. Background:
The John Day Dam navigation lock downstream lift gate requires replacement trackwheels as the current trackwheels are at the end of their service life. The trackwheels stabilize the gate as it translates vertically to open and close the lock.
Requirements:
Purchase components listed below for delivery by 16 February 2026.
Purchase of:
a. Description: Stainless steel trackwheel assembly with self-lubricated bushings
i. ASTM A564 Type 630 Condition H1150 Stainless Steel Trackwheel
ii. ASTM A564 Type 630 Condition H1150 Stainless Steel Trackwheel Shaft
iii. ASTM A564 Type 630 Condition H1150 Stainless Steel Keeper Plate
iv. ASTM A240 Type 304 Stainless Steel Retainer plate
v. Self-lubricated Nickel Aluminum Bronze backed lined collar
vi. Self-lubricated Nickel Aluminum Bronze backed lined bushing
vii. Nickel Aluminum Bronze Mid Eccentric Bushing
viii. Nickel Aluminum Bronze End Eccentric Bushing
ix. ASTM A240 Type 304 Stainless Steel Clamp plate
x. Containment Exclusion seals
xi. Bolts, washers, and nuts as indicated on drawings
xii. ASTM A403 Type 304 Stainless Steel Grease port plug

d. Quantity: Six Trackwheel assemblies (6) with the option for two (2) additional assemblies. Spare hardware as indicated in the drawings.
