The current racks are approximately 2 feet wide and 10 feet long each, with 58 cells total that need to be replaced. The replacement racks would need to fit in the existing 14 foot by 9 foot battery room. Additional details on the existing rack dimensions, layout of the battery room, and photos of the current setup are available. The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number W9127N23Q0121 for the Big Cliff Battery Bank Replacement project.

Q1. Any more detail you can provide on the rack outside of seismic, tiers, rows, length, etc?
Is this a replacement on existing or a new application?
A1. We currently are using racks that are 2 cells wide x 15 cells long and tiered with the cells against the wall are higher. And then two sets of these on each side of the room, could fit 60 cells, but we only have 58 on there, and only need 58.
We don’t have exact length of the existing rack, but each of the 2 cell x 15 cell racks are approximately 2 feet wide and 10 feet long.
The whole space we have in the battery room for putting these racks is 14 feet long, and 9 feet wide.
Would need to stay under 14 ft long. But the room could handle wider racks if that is what is out there.
See sketch of existing room layout and estimated dimensions and photo of existing battery setup.
