About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the construction of two new facilities at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The amendment revises the bidding schedule, explanation of bid items, and specifications. The solicitation is for the construction of a Gulf Remote Operations Center facility and a Telemetry Remote Operations Center facility, each to be a single-story pre-engineered metal building. The construction will include foundations, structural framing, exterior walls, roofing and interior buildout to house test support personnel and equipment. The bid schedule contains line items for construction of each building and associated site work, with unit pricing and options such as furnishings, canopies, generators, and additional site construction. The explanation of bid items provides further detail on the scope of work covered under each line item. The Corps of Engineers district in Mobile, Alabama issued the solicitation.
