The Q&A addresses detailed specifications for storage units, including configuration flexibility, dimensional parameters, and design preferences. Q&A for W9124V25QA018

This document contains ALL questions received in response to RFQ W9124V25QA018-FMS Storage with Shelves and Drawers for Fort Harrison, MT. It will be a running document.

Question Answer 1 Does EACH unit share a side frame or have their own and could be assembled and anchored to the floor as a single unit, separate from others

Each unit shall be free standing and not share a side frame.

Please refer to the picture in the SOW for reference. Must provide a picture in your quote per the SOW.

2 If you elect for CABINET, would your mission partner accept either drawer arrangement of:

*2x 9", 2x 8", 4x 5"h drawers (attempt to maximize drawer height, count is reduced) Or *2x 8", 4x 5", 5x 3"h drawers (attempt to achieve 12 drawers, drawer height is reduced) NOTE: the specified 12 drawer layout is 72"h total of drawers, and the total unit height is only 96" (FMS 7- Butte spec); that leaves less than 24"h (unit base and top take up room), for "Adjustable Shelves, QTY 4" with 1" shelves, you only get 4"h shelf clearance, which is effectively unusable at that height off the ground and at a 30" to 36"d.

We will not use all the drawers per cabinet. We will be mixing and matching. Some units may be mostly drawer while others are mostly shelves. 24” -30” deep of cabinet is ok.

They need to have the ability to be stand alone. Some may be joined depending on size. Please refer to the picture in the SOW for reference.

3 If you elect for SHELVING, would 24"d be acceptable?

We will not use all the drawers per cabinet. We will be mixing and matching. Some units may be mostly drawer while others are mostly shelves. 24” -30” deep of cabinet is ok. Please refer to the picture in the SOW for reference.

4 Will you accept 60" wide units instead of 48" wide?

60” wide units would be ok

5 Do you want the drawers quoted empty or filled with dividers and partitions?

Drawer quoted with partitions as long as the partitions are adjustable.

6 If you want divider kits, how many compartments for each drawer?

A variety of compartments for the drawers. Adjustable preferred as items stored may change over time.

7 Do you want these units connected together in units of 4, like one starter unit and 3 add-on units? Or would you like the units all starters so you can move them?

I do not want them to have to all be connected. Free standing is best.

8 Would you accept 27-3/4" deep units? usable drawer depth would be 25"

27 and ¾ deep is ok.
