About this file

This document contains questions and responses related to Solicitation W9124M24Q0007 for the procurement of five high-quality replica fiberglass statues of the 3rd Infantry Division "Rocky" the Bulldog Statue. The solicitation requires the statues to be weather-resistant and durable for outdoor display in tropical climates, and they must be constructed to support the weight of the statue at a single swivel point. Key details from the questions and responses include:

The contractor requested an extension to the September 30 end delivery date due to the upfront work required prior to fabrication, and the agency indicated they would consider an alternative timeline within the contractor's proposal. The agency confirmed the requirement for a fiberglass flag rather than a real polyester flag. Additionally, the agency specified the information plate must be placed on the base of the statue and that the single pivot point is required to allow the statue to be rotated. The agency also confirmed that the contractor is allowed to make a mold of the original statue, as long as the original is not changed or damaged in any way. However, the agency denied the request to paint the statue more true-to-life to the cartoon Rocky character.
