This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bragg, North Carolina, intends to issue a solicitation to provide Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste (HM/HW) management services at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The primary objective of these services is to provide technical and field assistance for the overall HM/HW management in support of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield and the Environmental Division to facilitate successful implementation of environmental management programs.
The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor to properly characterize, containerize, mark, label, store and prepare for shipment off-site of all hazardous waste from maintenance activities on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The Contractor shall also provide all necessary labor to conduct quarterly inspections of these maintenance facilities and conduct facility assistance visits in an effort to maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulation.
The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance for this acquisition is 1 April 2017 through 31 March, 2018, with four (4), 1-year option periods. This acquisition is restricted to SBA Certified 8(a) Program Participants. The assigned National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562112.
MICC - Fort Bragg anticipates issuing the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 29 November 2016. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the RFP. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Maintenance database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.sam.gov/.
The RFP will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: https://www.fbo.gov. Offerors received in response to the solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest priced technically acceptable offer meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards as outlined in the solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested potential offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web site for any possible updates/amendments on the anticipated RFP.
