Sources Sought Questions and Responses GCSS-Army Systems Integration Question 1: After the EAA is performed, the PWS states the contractor will also assist in the implementation of the future state of MEDLOG in the GWSS-Army. Does this require any actual, direct systems integration work or is it completely support to the integration?
Response 1: After the completion of the EAA, the contractor will not do direct systems integration work. They will support with the development of requirements documents and respond to requests for information from the development organization.
Question 2: How does the government plan to acquire services to complete the systems integration work once the Enterprise Architecture Analysis (EAA) is completed?
Response 2: Systems integration work will be completed by contract support within the Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center (JMLFDC), which is a Defense Health Agency (DHA) organization and the various PMs within the Single Army Logistics Enterprise (SALE). The development support from those organizations is outside of scope of this contract and outside of the span of control of USAMEDCOM.
Question 3: Does the government have a timeline for the completion of the EAA?
Response 3: Yes, first draft within 90 days of award and final draft 180 days after award.
Question 4 : Will the results of the EAA be turned over to an incumbent contractor already working on one or more of these programs (MEDLOG, GCSS-Army, AMLE or CASCOM)?
Response 4: Results of the EAA will be submitted to a governmental organization to determine how to implement potential system changes. The receiving organization will determine how to execute potential system changes.
