A1. The quantity is listed under “Estimated Quantity”.

Q2. In your scope of work, there’s only 2 time frame that’s open for pick up and delivery, is there any other options?

A2. You can specify designated dates for pick-up and delivery service. This service based on the various commands and student demands. For example, organizational laundry currently for Warrant Officer Candidates are issued and turned/exchange by individual classes.

Not uncommon for 1ST WOCC having direct exchange 2-3 times per week.

Q3. For laundry service, do you expect the contractor to come perform the laundry work at 00172 172A?

A3. No laundry work at 172A, maybe short notice cleaning of honor detail gloves.

This Facility, B172A, is for the Contractor to operate and manage as their Laundry Distribution and Collection Point Facility for the issue, receipt, requisition, exchange, warehousing, and turn-in of linens.

Q4. How often do you want the laundry and dry clean service to be performed? Once a week?

A4. See Q2/A2 above and Technical Exhibit 2 Direct Exchange schedule for example.

Q5. May I ask if it is a must for the “government furnished facility” be utilized for Notice ID:

W9124G21R0008?

A5. The Government Furnished Facility must be utilized. This facility B172A is for the Contractor to operate and manage as their Laundry Distribution and Collection Point Facility for the issue, receipt, requisition, exchange, warehousing, and turn-in of linens.

Q6. The solicitation wouldn’t allow us to open/download any documents outside of the Notice. Is your department able to email over the complete solicitation packet?

A6. The solicitation and all attachments should be downloaded from www.sam.gov.

We are not allowed to email the solicitation. If the site were down, we would assist.

Q7. Based on previous contracts inventory data; how many pounds of linen and dry cleaning will be needed for service? (I understand the need may increase/decrease yet an estimate would help in providing the best possible quote)

A7. We provided the estimated quantity of pieces of all items to quote. We cannot provide poundage at this time due to utilizing a piece count.

Q8. Are the loads separated by L&DC at pick up? (To account for inventory accuracy)

A8. Yes, B172A is for the Contractor to operate and manage as their Laundry Distribution and Collection Point Facility for the issue, receipt, requisition, exchange, warehousing, and turn-in of linens. Loads will be separated here as well.

Q9. Will leniency be allotted for items that are tagged for repairs (holes, rips, tears) by your department by approving separate return/delivery dates should the repairs take longer to suffice?

A9. The Contractor at their expense shall repair (minor snags, holes, open seams, replacement of buttons, and repair or replacement of broken zippers) or replace items damaged during the laundering process. Any existing damages discovered at the time of turn in shall be so noted on the laundry or dry cleaning ticket. YES if items are tagged for repairs then we will have leniency for time to repair and clean. Need to determine the repair times for the various repairs (minor snags, holes, open seams, replacement of buttons, and repair or replacement of broken zippers).

Q10. Items that need repair are normally separate from standard cleaning- may we include a separate line item for repairs?

A10. Laundered items that need repair from normal wear & tear will be replaced by the organization.
