The government reserves the right to make required changes such as adding or deleting units to include designating building locations to the direct exchange services.

Example of a Special Mission Requirements/Contingency Operations. The Contracting Officer will give timely estimates and workload data to the contractor for scheduling of any anticipated off-schedule workload.

Special situations such as actions taken during the COVID-19 pandemic by the Senior Mission Commander or Installation (Garrison) collective leadership resulted in guidance restricting movement for Soldiers and organizations. These actions may result in the government changing a unit’s direct exchange of organizational linens and designated pick up and drop off points. This is only one example where the government reserves the right to change by adding or deleting units and or designating pick-up/drop off locations to the direct exchange services to ensure that government furnished linens are cleaned and serviceable.
