PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)

U.S. ARMY MISSION SUPPORT BATTALION AUGMENTED REALITY PHOTO COMPOSITING

SYSTEM (BOOTH)

PART 1

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to provide an Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth). The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government.

1.1. Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide an Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.

1.2. Background: Provide a custom real-time photo compositing system (Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth)). The photo compositing system (booth) will allow delegates at a live event to have their picture taken in front of a green screen and then composited into one of three different scenes, of the operators / delegates choice. Then, in real-time, the picture is shared to an online server where tablet devices with custom written App installed can read and share the picture on social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Twitter. An email or SMS will also be provided allowing the delegate to conveniently post the picture on their social media sites.

1.3. Objectives: The Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) concept is an innovative way to engage audiences both directly and indirectly through social media interface. Through this initiative, the MSB will be able to deploy exhibit vehicles with a capability to passively engage social media platforms. The Augmented

Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) will provide a long term, sustainable, and cost effective solution to the existing problem which is the unit’s capability gap in trying to extend influence in gathering impressions.

1.4. Scope: The Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) enables MSB to virtually engage with Americans via the social media dissemination of photos depicting a familiar face in an exciting Army-themed environment. Employment of this technology will expand MSB’s ability to create positive Army impressions beyond the initial engagement at MSB exhibits. Furthermore, the Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) software application will provide an enduring method to track return on investment by evaluating the number of times captured images are shared throughout social media, providing an overall count of Army impressions made by a single shared photograph. The contractor shall provide a functional Augmented Reality Photo Compositing System (Booth) to be used as a U.S. Army Recruiting Tool. The proprietary photo booth activation will travel around the United States of America in a U.S. Army branded Semitrailer Van to High Schools, Colleges, etc. in order to enhance the recruitment experience.

1.5. RESERVED
