About this file

This document contains a site visit agenda and details for a federal contract opportunity to renovate Building 225 Area D at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District is soliciting design-build construction services to remove and replace the roof and renovate office space. A mandatory site visit will be held on February 28, 2023, starting at the Hill AFB USACE Utah Resident Office to tour the project site. All questions must be submitted through ProjNet by March 28 and proposals must be requested through DoD SAFE by March 27 and submitted by April 4. The project scope involves removing the existing wood roof deck, roof membrane, insulation and substrate, and replacing it with a new steel deck, rigid insulation and single-ply PVC roof to eliminate the sawtooth design. The construction services will also include civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical work to support the necessary renovations. The estimated value of construction is between $25-100 million.
