About this file
This addendum modifies specifications for a federal solicitation to procure construction services for a wastewater treatment facility. The addendum inserts language into the plumbing specifications requiring polyethylene storage tanks meeting ASTM D1998 standards for two applications: a chlorine contact tank of minimum 1,500 gallon capacity and maximum 94 inch diameter by 63 inch height, and a clearwell tank of minimum 5,000 gallon capacity and maximum 142 inch diameter by 92 inch height. Both tank types must include manways of at least 18 and 36 inches respectively. The addendum also adds an operational test for polyethylene storage tanks requiring filling to the overflow pipe level and inspection for leaks, with corrective action and retesting until leaks are eliminated. The solicitation is for the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Sacramento to construct a wastewater treatment facility at Fort Hunter-Liggett, provided in solicitation W91238-21-B-0013 with attached specifications, plans, and wage determinations.
