5152.236-9009 Partnering (FEB 2000)

In order to most effectively accomplish this contract, the Government proposes to form a partnership with the Contractor to develop a cohesive building team. It is anticipated that this partnership would involve the Contractor, primary subcontractors and designers, and the Corps of Engineers. This partnership would strive to develop a cooperative management team drawing on the strengths of each team member in an effort to achieve a quality project within budget and on schedule. This partnership would be bilateral in membership and participation will be completely voluntary. Any cost associated with effectuating this partnership, excluding travel and lodging cost of Government personnel, will be borne by each party. The partnering meetings, if needed, shall be held informally during the period of performance at John W.

Flannagan Dam, Haysi, VA; at the request of either the Contractor or the Government. Participation attendance via phone conference/web meeting would be allowed for those personnel not already working on site.
