Services, Non-personal; The contractor shall conduct Annual Inspection & testing of all fire alarm panels for proper operation and supervision, smoke detectors, duct detectors, pull stations, audible / visual notification devices, & all supervisory devices for proper operation and annunciation IAW with NFPA17,17A, 25, 72 & UFC 3-601-02 & UFC 3-230-02. This project also involves the inspection & testing of the Base Fire Suppression Systems to include the following systems. Wet (to include Hydrants, Water

Tanks & Fire Protection Backflows), Dry sprinkler systems, Pre-action sprinkler systems, Dry chemical systems, Fire pump inspections, High Expansion Foam (HEF) Systems & Hood Systems. IAW with NFPA17, 17A, 25, 72 and UFC 3-601-02 and 3-

230-02. Contractor shall provide an electronic copy of a detailed completed inspection report to include; list of all discrepancies found, required actions to render compliant, and include an itemized system repair quote for each facility. Contractor shall provide a properly placed system certification tag on each inspected fire alarm panel and suppression systems IAW NFPA and

UFC requirements. Contractor shall be NICET Level 2 qualified. Work must be completed within 30 days of contract award.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for

Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;

quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.

This solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP).

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561621, with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. The Florida Air

National Guard Contracting Office is seeking to purchase the services of inspection and testing all base Fire Alarm Detection and Suppression systems to include Annual Inspection and testing of all fire alarm panels for proper operation and supervision, smoke detectors, duct detectors, pull stations, audible/visual notification devices, and all supervisory devices for proper operation and annunciation IAW with NFPA17,17A, 25, 72 and UFC 3-601-02 and UFC 3-230-02.

Acceptable (LPTA) offer.
