A1. Lock dewatering similar to cofferdam dewatering.

Q2. What is the total static discharge head (per pump)?

A2. Approximately 50' for all pumps

Q3. What is the total length of discharge hose (per pump)?

A3. 60 to 150'

Q4. What is the desired flow target in GPM per pump?

A4. 2300 gallons of water per minute at 50 feet TDH

Q5. What/where is the discharge point (open/closed)?

A5. Open, above water

Q6. Are any of the (4) 8" electric submersibles considered mechanical backups?

A6. No. Total run time will depend on leakage rate.

Q7. Is a job site walk an option?

A7. No.

For the Options quote:

Q8. Is this the same application or different than the initial (4) electric submersibles needed? If different, please refer to same questions from previous section. For the 12" Hydraulic pump application, please clarify application & product pumping (cofferdam dewatering, stream diversion, etc.).

A8. Same, Lock dewatering similar to cofferdam dewatering.

Q9. What is the desired GPM flow rate?

A9. 4500 US GPM at 80 feet TDH

Q10. What is the static discharge head and total discharge lengths per pump?

A10. Approximately 70' static head, 150 to 200' total discharge length.

Q11. What/where is the discharge point?

A11. Open, above water

Q12. Can we utilize 12" QD (Bauer / ball/socket) galvanized pipe opposed to HDPE?

A12. Yes.

Q13. If there are no high PSI flows why do we need flanged connections?

A13. Flanged connections had been specified in the past and provided acceptable performance but Bauer or equal ball/socket QD is acceptable.

Q14. Are any of the 12" pumps considered mechanical backups?

A14. No. Total run time will depend on leakage rate.

For CLIN 0001 - RT Crane:

Q15. The equipment specifications in the description for this crane can be meet by 75 ton RT. With the 65 ton unit at maximum specs it exceeds the 43,000 lb. load chart. It can be done safely with the 75 ton unit. The only issue is the maximum single axle load would increase to 59,000 lbs. would this be an issue?

A15. The crane will be driven across a bridge and may not exceed the required axle loading.

Q16.Are you using this only to lift equipment?

A16. This will be used to lift and position equipment, tools and materials. No duty cycle work will be performed. No personnel will be lifted.
