About this file
This document package includes a technical specification section and related federal contract opportunity notice. The technical specification section outlines requirements for civil works fabrications including miscellaneous metals, shop fabricated items like steel handrails and sheet pile wall caps, surface finishes, fencing, and a bottom tension wire. It provides specifications for materials, fabrication, finishes, and installation. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District for the Tionesta Lake Outflow Left Bank Long-Term Repair project. The requirements include installing erosion and sedimentation controls, a sheet pile wall, gravel backfill, additional backfill, a proposed pavement section, topsoil, and guide rail, wall cap and handrail. Construction will require minimizing intrusion to the campground access road and be conducted with government approval.
