Heated Sample Transfer Lines
The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Government’s response to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Contractor question/concern received.
Question/Concern: We feel the 50 pound maximum weight limit for a 150ft length of heated hose is impossible to meet. Heated sample lines are made pretty much in the same way no matter who builds it. Which is why we think this is impossible not only for us but for anybody. If our heated line performs and passes the recovery tests, is robust, looks good but is a little over the limit of 50 pounds, we are concerned we will be eliminated over the weight specifications regardless of how our heated line performs. In other words, how much “weight” is put on the 50 pound limit?
Government response: The terms of the procurement will remain unchanged.
