About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation W911SG-25-Q-0029, issued by MICC-Fort Bliss on February 25, 2025, which provides responses to contractor questions about the requirement for two refrigerated trucks. The amendment clarifies that the government requires two diesel-powered box trucks (not shipping containers or trailers) with minimum 12-foot length, capable of maintaining 45°F temperature for perishable food storage and transport. Each truck must have either a pull-out ramp or lift gate, no side access door is required, and must be able to haul 12,600 lbs.
The trucks will travel approximately 250 miles each between Fort Bliss and range complexes. The government will provide fuel at the Fort Bliss fuel farm. Vehicles must have US license plates and meet all Texas state inspection and documentation requirements to be street legal. The original submission deadline remains unchanged. Key specifications were provided through 11 question-and-answer pairs that address technical requirements, operational parameters, and compliance standards.
