Questions/Inquiries
1. FBO Solicitation Initial Notice referred that “Window sizes do vary from 35" x 58" to
48"x 96". Window size 35” x 58” was only seen in either barrack, upon the Site Visit. Is there any window size measures of 48” x 96” as previously mentioned? ‐ Window dimensions vary by 1/4"‐1/2". No, windows measures of 48"x96".
2. Schedule of Supply/Services, Item No. 0001 refers to “Install 400 horizontal blinds 48” x 96”. During the Site Visit, there was an opportunity to view and measure window size of only two Cadet rooms for accurate measure (approx. 35” x 58” each). Are there possibly some rooms that contain this 48” x 96” window size measure that was not shown? If so, could you please provide the number of rooms that contain them and do those rooms have two windows too? ‐ Window dimensions vary by 1/4"‐1/2". No, windows measures of 48"x96".
3. Schedule of Supply/Services, Item No. 0001 refers to Salient characteristics of 1” inch aluminum mini‐blinds tilt/lift control system as “Wand Tilt, Cord Left”. Industry standard for control system is generally “Wand Tilt Left, Cord Lift Right”. Are the blinds requested required to be ALL non‐standard with the control location to be grouped to the Left? Will standard control location “Wand Tilt Left, Cord Lift Right” be adequate?
‐ use industry standard of "Wand Tilt Left, Cord Lift Right".
4. Could you please clarify if the Window Blinds should be 1" Aluminum slats in
.006 gauge or .008 gauge:
Windows blinds should be .008 gauge for durability.
5. Will a Dedicated Superintendent be required for this project? No, I don't think that will be necessary.
