Q&A
W911SA24Q3099 KTR Questions
1. What type of water containment systems is the government providing for this level of effort? Can you clarify the type of storage systems you will have onsite and if this is consistent throughout all 5 different locations for the period of performance?
Each 3K gallon blivit (NSN: 5430-01-470-7380) has two 2-inch valves female connections. Blivits can be fed through connections or from the top by opening the zipper. Contractor shall provide male connective hoses and pumps.
Process usually takes about 30 minutes, sometimes less. BLIVIT: DESCRIPTION, PART NUMBER/(CAGEC): TANK, FABRIC, COLLAPSIBLE: RCF-3K-W-OT (05YK6)
Government provided gray water tanks are up to 500 gallons each. Contractor shall provide pumps. This process takes about the same time (30 minutes) sometimes less.
2. Are we supposed to provide any water containment/storage systems for the potable water or is this already being provided by the government?
The government owed equipment will have water storage systems for both portable and gray water.
3. How are the water containment systems being fed into the water intake system (showers/ laundry) at the 5 different locations?
Contractor shall provide pumps.
4. Are the showers and laundry locations located next to each other? What do they look like?
All Showers and Laundry will locate on 5 different sites.
TAA Freedom – 1 LADS (Laundry Advanced System) = 4 EACH 500 GAL gray water tank. No less than two 3K blivits for potable water.
TAA Liberty- 1 LADS (borrowed from 974th QM CO) = 4 EACH 500-GAL gray water tank (MKT FOOD WASTE ONLY) MID-WAY. All other gray water will be disposed through manhole. No less than two 3K blivits for potable water.
TBB Patriot – 1 Shower System = No less than 4 EACH GRAY WATER TANK 500 GAL. No less than two 3K blivits for potable water.

5. In the Performance Work Statement it is stated that "the government will furnish potable water and provide location for trailer top load potable water point" - to clarify we will only need to provide the staff (operators and crews) and the equipment (tankers, nozzles) to ferry the necessary water from your designated fill station to the delivery locations outlined? No cost of the water to us for this?
Potable water will be provided by the government. There is one potable water fill station, top loaded into contractor provided potable water truck.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, material, supplies, and any other services necessary to provide water potable water delivery and gray water removal.
6. At each delivery location, are there multiple fill sites or is it an individual fill site at each delivery location? Or is it one central fill site for all five locations? Is there a map for the fill stations?
There is one potable water fill station, top loaded into contractor’s provided potable water truck.
7. How big is the hose and how fast can they fill our tankers? 2.5" Fire thread is common on hydrant (may or may not have a meter) Each 3K gallon blivit has two 2-inch valves female connections. They can be fed through these connections or from the top by opening the zipper. We do NOT have male hoses or pumps that feed them or extract the water.
