Water and Wastewater Laboratory Analysis
Fort McCoy Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants needs to establish a contract with a State of Wisconsin certified laboratory to analyze drinking water, wastewater effluent, and sludge samples. The Contractor shall provide all preservatives, sample bottles, coolers, and chain-of-custodies for each sampling event. The Contractor shall arrange for the delivery of those items to the Fort McCoy Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), 2280 Treatment Drive, (off Hwy 21) Fort McCoy, WI 54656 and nowhere else. The contractor shall analyze drinking water samples from a ground water source, for parameters covered under State of Wisconsin Administrative Code NR 809, Safe Drinking Water. The sampling parameters and frequency to determine compliance with the maximum contaminant level is set annual by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) annually. The WDNR may grant waivers for various parameters based on prior year’s laboratory results. This may result in a reduced monitoring frequency for certain parameters. The contractor shall be aware that the final monitoring schedule sampling frequency is set by the WDNR and the parameters of this CLIN will change at least once during every period of performance. The WDNR have occasionally made changes to the final monitoring schedule during the year.
