About this file

This document contains an amendment to a federal solicitation and the original solicitation. The amendment updates the requirement to provide temporary housing and tent structures at multiple training sites in Indiana. It increases the number of soldiers to be housed at one location from 200 to 1400, extends the response deadline by two days, and provides responses to vendor questions.

The original solicitation seeks sustainment support services including temporary housing, food services, and shower facilities at Camp Atterbury and Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Indiana from April 1st to May 16th, 2023. Quotes are due by the date and time listed in the solicitation. Vendors should monitor sam.gov for the issuance and any amendments. The requirement is being issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort McCoy.

The following have been added by full text:

RESPONSE TO VENDOR QUESTIONS

1. Is the contractor to supply all food/goods for cooking or will it be provided by DLA/USG?

Yes, the contractor shall provide all foods and goods.

2. Is the contractor responsible for providing its own kitchen (Trailers/Modular kitchen) or a DFAC aboard Camp Atterbury be made available for contractor use? For example, North DFAC & DFAC Bldg 350.

Yes. The contractor shall provide all equipment needed to prepare for the task.

3. Will Shower Heads to PAX have a set ratio? OSHA recommends a 1:10 ratio, and 5.4. Shower support specifies that there will be five (5) shower trailers to service 1,400 personnel at RSC Panther, with no fewer than five shower heads per trailer. We hope to receive clarification on an estimated PAX-to-shower head ratio in order to provide contract-compliant pricing that is precise.

RSC Panther will only require five (5) shower trailers. Each Trailer will have no less than (5) shower heads.

Contractor can provide larger/longer trailers but no more than twelve (12) shower heads.
