RESPONSE TO VENDOR QUESTIONS
W911SA-23-Q-3049 CYS Bus Services Vendor Questions & Answers
Q1. Does the quote require Motor Coach per hour pricing as well or just a school bus? You put in the quote that motor coaches need to be 3 years old or newer, does this apply to school buses as well?
A1. Per hour pricing could be for just the school bus if desired. The requirement for the buses to be 3 years old or newer has been removed. School buses and motor coaches must meet safety regulations set forth in the WI DOT and applicable regulations for the safe transportation of children.
Q2. Will a motor coach ever be needed?
A2. Motor coaches are not required. Provided buses need to meet the capacity of the ridership provided from the program.
Q3. Is there a place to park buses on the base?
A3. We do not have a designated space identified at this time.
Q4. The contract states no more than 2 buses are needed on any given day.
A4. Correct. Some days only one bus may be needed. There may be a few days or times where two buses would be requested to provide transportation to different locations.
Q5. I see a unit is hours. I’m assuming on your excel spreadsheet you want me to price per hour for the 758 hours of service needed?
A5. That is correct. The Price Schedule Attachment (Excel document) is based on hourly pricing, with each unit equaling 1 hour.
The following have been modified:
