Q1: With many of the annual or semi-annual tasks, the date for completing them has already passed. Would you want this completed as part of the initial clean or not until the next scheduled cleaning? As an example, shampoo carpet is 1x in May; will this be done as part of the initial clean or not until next May?

A1: The vendor will complete the annual and semi-annual tasks as they are listed on the T&F. The carpet shampoo will be completed in May as listed on the Task and Frequency Chart.

Q2: Are there specific clearance requirements for cleaning team members?

A4: The Government does not retain this information.

A5: PWS 1.6.11 Hazardous Materials: The Contractor shall provide and post an inventory listing of all hazardous materials used and stored onsite. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) will be maintained in the same location as stored cleaning materials and chemicals. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to properly train his personnel on the existence and safe use and storage of hazardous materials. When readily available the Contractor shall use environmentally safe products in the performance of the contract. Products containing chlorofluorocarbons shall not be used. The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of all their cleaning supplies and containers.
