SECTION SF 30 BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following items are applicable to this modification:

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS 2ND SET

Q1: Attachment 6 – Additional Information (21 page pdf file) – sheets 17-21 cannot be viewed or printed.

A1: The files that are on FBO are the only files available. We understand 17-21 are very difficult to read but with the age of the facility, these are the only documents available.

Q2: This amendment has attachment 3, 5, and 6. What is attachment 1, 2, and 4?

A2: They are located on FBO under the solicitation.

Q3: Scope of Work paragraphs 4.1, 4.1.8, 4.1.9, 4.1.10, 4.1.11, 4.1.12, and 4.1.13 indicated the removal of Obsolete HVAC components. But it makes no mention or requirement to installing a new system. Please clarify.

A3: System is already in place and old items were left, this will be taking out the left in place items.

Q4: The previous answer to question 42 (Identify obsolete HVAC units in rooms106 and 129) states A42: “1.9 The Contractor shall verify all dimensions, site conditions, and any other items required to install a complete and ready to use product, prior to submitting a bid proposal for construction.” Please clarify if contractor is to demo obsolete HVAC components and NOT install a new system.

A4: Contractor is to demo obsolete equipment and not install new.
