Purpose: The purpose of this modification is to provide a second site visit on 8 Aug 2023 at 0930 PDT. Contractors had questions who were not able to attend the first site visit, and the COR recommened a second to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to view the ARMAG site. The second site visit will give insight to contractors on the use of the requested crane, the parking situation for the crane, and how much space they will have to manuever around potential hazards. The hazards include: fencing, buildings, and power lines.
Time: A site visit is scheduled for 8 Aug 2023 at 0930 PDT. Interested attendees are asked to meet at Fort Lewis Main Gate Visitor Center. This will be the second site visit to be conducted. Potential vendors who already have base access must register with J. Caleb Collins no later than 1500 hours on 7 Aug 2023. Email Caleb at james.c.collins153.civ@army.mil.
Moreover, potential vendors requiring post access assistance should contact Mr. Richard Winter via email at richard.p.winter.civ@army.mil no later than 1500 hours on 7 Aug 2023.
Questions: Any and all questions, concerns, clarifications, or verifications should be submitted to J. Caleb Collins via written format. All inquiries from the site visit will be shared to all, and will need to be submitted on or before 10 Aug 2023 COB PDT. Include in the subject line of the email the Government’s solicitation number; failure to do so will lessen the Government’s ability to ensure all questions are considered during the solicitation process.
Bid Information: Contractors who submit a bid must do so by sending the necessary required information to james.c.collins153.civ@army.mil NLT COB on 14 Aug 23. The closing date for the amended solicitation will be 15 Aug 23.
Money: The total value of the contract remians unchanged.
Conclusion: This modification is considered within scope of the original intent of the contract. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
