5. There are 6 CLIN items, there are 8 Buildings in Attachment 2. BLDG 31310 and 3360 do not have CLIN items. Are we to assume they are not part of the proposal?
Answer: There is only one CLIN. All buildings, to include 31310 and 3360 fall under paragraph
1.4.1.a, b, and c which pertain to cleaning. 1.4.1.d pertains to repair, which 31310 and 3360 have no need of, so there is no mention of those two areas.
6. During the site walk, it came to our attention that the “approach” at BLDG 11248 was not asphalt, but actually concrete. We are finalizing our proposal and we are unable to submit it without a details of the area, as well as the square footage required. For bidding purposes; Can we to assume it is 8” Permeable concrete, with 2” choker coarse and 10” of permeable ballast, and the only area of removal and replacement is at the approach per the site visit of 2,000 SF?
Answer: Correct, concrete. 8” permeable concrete, 2” choker coarse, with 10” ballast is acceptable.
7. Building 11248 Pavement indicates repair of pavement at this location. The SOW does not indicate the quantity, it only describes the current condition. In order to provide a cost for repair, there needs to be a quantity of repair.
Answer: The amendment addressed paragraph 1.4.1.d.6, which covers the repair efforts associated with bldg. 11248. It now shows the entire area is to be repaired by replacement. So the assumptions from your second question will apply.
