Response to the Questions
Q. What is the amount of the past award, if any? Does the award amount include option years? If so, what option years does the award amount include?
A. The contract value for the previous Catholic Musician requirement was $13,121.00. The previous contract did not include option years.
Q. What is the name of the awardee in case there is a past award information?
A. The awardee for the previous Catholic Musician was Dickson Music.
Q. Is there an incumbent in place?
A. Yes
Q. #0003 states there will be 104 services each year, however an investigation of the Ft. Carson website at: Caution‐http://www.carson.army.mil/Chaplain/chapels.html < Caution‐ http://www.carson.army.mil/Chaplain/chapels.html > reveals only one Catholic service on Sunday. Is a service being added to the schedule either on Saturday or Sunday? If so, what time and day would that additional service be?
A. ‐ The 104 services count both the Saturday Evening Mass and the Sunday Morning Mass each week.
Saturday evening mass at Soldiers Memorial Chapel is at 1700 (5:00pm) each Saturday. Sunday Mass is also at Soldiers Memorial Chapel and is at 0900 (9:00am) each Sunday.
Q. Do we need to submit a resume of a candidate?
A. ‐ A formal resume is not needed, however anything the bidder can Submit to show that they meet the Contractor Qualifications in Paragraph 2.1 Of the PWS would help us determine technical suitability (e.g. experience, Education or certifications in the areas of accompaniment, musical Performance and congregational worship).
Q. Would the Contracting Office disregard a response that would be fulfilled by one musician for both posts, provided there are no scheduling conflicts for that musician?
A. The contracting office accepts quotes that conform to the requirements of each solicitation. One offeror can provide a quote for multiple solicitations. If an offeror is the successful awardee for multiple requirements that offeror would be required to fulfill the terms of each award.
