Questions from Industry As of 9 April 2021

1. I would like to know what you are currently doing for mosquito treatment. How often are you doing it, where are you doing and what are they doing.

Govt Response: Reference Exhibit B, paragraph 5.11 DISEASE VECTOR CONTROL for details on larviciding and adulticiding (fogging). Work will be in Main Cantonment Area, excluding housing.

Estimating 120 man-hours annually for each operation.

2. At the bottom of the bid is section 0004 Pest Control Service – SRM Action. What is this?

Govt Response: Reference Exhibit B, paragraph 5.13.3.4 for details on operation. The title is an indication of the funding.

3. You have a section for Swarmer’s. What are you expecting. There is nothing that is going to stop a swarm. Even if we did a liquid treatment they are still going to swarm. Any treatment that would be done it for the rest of the colony. Also when we do a spot treatment, we are treating 5 feet on each side of where the termites were found. I am assuming since it wants a price for 10 linear feet that is the same thing you are expecting? Or are you talking about an inspection because you have swarmers?

Govt Response: Reference Exhibit B, paragraph 5.10.3.2 Control of Swarming Termites and paragraph

5.10.3.3 Treatment for Termites. Treatment approved will be based on inspection.

4. What are you wanting in section 001 for No show Charge because you have the quantity as .1?

Govt Response: We are wanting your charge for one (1) no-show. The estimated annual quantity for this task is only 1, as this is very infrequent, so we estimate the monthly quantity to .1.

5. Under section 0002 what is Permanent Facilities – per 1000sft?

Govt Response: A Permanent Facility is a facility designated by the Army of having a life-span of over 25 years. This Exhibit C line would include all buildings on post NOT listed for permanent monthly inspections on Attachment 3.
