Questions from Industry
As of 17 July 2017
1. Would the Government consider removing the Quality Control Inspector as a management position, as having a Quality Control Manager and a Quality Control Inspector is overkill for this type of contract?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The Quality Control Inspector position will not be removed from the PWS. It is a non‐exempt/non‐management conformed position, as determined by USDOL in Attachment 4.
2. Regarding Section B – Supplies or Services and Prices, do we list all four years in each respective CLIN or just the aggregate total of the four years of each CLIN?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: You will input the aggregate total. You’ll use Exhibit G, column N, to obtain those totals from your unit of measure price/ordering period. Task orders will be issued using the prices off of Exhibit G for the ordering period that applies for that timeframe.
3. Would the Government consider making this a Base plus 4 Option contract instead of a Base plus 3 Option contract? The Government would receive better pricing if bid this way.
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: No. This contract will have no option years. Only one four‐year ordering period will be used with this contract.
