About this file

This combined synopsis/solicitation requests proposals for a multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide Future Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems. The Army's Program Executive Office for Aviation is seeking Group 2/3 UAS that meet requirements for rapid deployability, point takeoff and landing, 24-hour reconnaissance and surveillance support, and worldwide employment up to 10,000 feet. Proposals are due by October 29, 2018. The ordering period will be three years from the estimated December 2018 award date. The solicitation includes contract line items for systems, components, parts, training, data requirements, and contractor logistics support. Offerors must address all technical requirements and provide motion imagery, communications relay, and interoperability capabilities as defined by NATO standards.

1 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

All requirements must be addressed by paragraph number just as listed below, with a bottom line up front explanation of ability to meet the requirement (or exceed/shortfall), discussion of evidence (i.e. analysis, ground test, flight test, operational usage), and any specific details about method of execution (i.e. explain how motion imagery distribution to the ground force and operator is executed).

All flight parameters are conducted at operational altitude (system specific). Operational altitude is defined as the altitude at which the UAS can meet requirement 1.5.3 and 1.5.4.
