About this file
This is a commercial availability certification and salient characteristics document for equipment procurement in support of research at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL).
The procurement requires one (1) high temperature Direct Current (DC) and Radio Frequency (RF) capable vacuum probe station (part number HP1000V-RF-mK2000) with minimum specifications including four (4) DC probes thermally stable to 1000°C with X, Y, and Z positioning capabilities accommodating up to 200 volts; two (2) RF ground-signal-ground probes stable to 800°C with positioning and theta rotation capability, useable at 40 gigahertz or greater; one (1) heated stage capable of reaching 1000°C with ±1°C accuracy, backside cooling with safety interlocks, and minimum dimensions of 12 x 12 millimeters; and one (1) environmental control chamber integrating the heated stage with independent manual probe positioning and vacuum tight to less than one millitorr. The environmental chamber operates on 120V, 60Hz AC input power and allows for inert background gases including Argon and Nitrogen. Additionally, the contract includes a buy-back provision for one (1) HP1000V-MPS-mK2000 unit, four BNC-VT-1x probes, and PSM-TM1 equipment previously purchased under order W911QX23P0034.
