RFI Response

Fire Alarm Maintenance and Repair
Solicitation Number: W911QX-18-T-0151
RFI Responses
ACan the government please provide who the incumbent is and the amount of incumbent’s contract amount?
The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) has experienced a lapse in service since FEB 2018. The previous Contractor was INTERNATIONAL SYSTEMS OF AMERICA (ISA), LLC Fire and Security
BHas the statement of work from the previous contract changed? If so, how?
The Government cautions prospective offerors to read all acquisition documents and scope of services contemplated in determining its price proposal
C)The scope of work states that the contractor will be responsible for minor repairs less than $2500. Will the government provide a list of any pre-existing repairs, conditions, and needed repairs for all systems on this solicitation?
Yes, please refer to "Pre-existing Repairs" tab
D)Will any pre-existing deficiencies, conditions, and needed repairs be a billable repair whether or not it exceeds the $2500 threshold?
All pre-existing/known repairs are below the $2,500 threshold. In the case that an unscheduled repair exceeds the $2,500 threshold the new work may be processed as a contract modification and subsequently billed through WAWF. See PWS Section 1.6 for additional information about incidental repairs
E)Can the government provide the number of repairs or estimated number of repairs completed in the last year which did not exceed $2500 and those which exceeded $2500?
See "Historical Data" tab
F)Can the government provide the quantity of hood suppression systems, along with the last inspection reports?
There are two separate hood suppression systems in the cafeteria. Inspection report available. See attachment
G)Can the government confirm that all hood suppression systems meet the UL300 listing?
Yes
H)Please confirm that the ITM on kitchen hoods pertains to the fire suppression system only and not the hood maintenance or hood cleaning
Correct. There is a Contractor that currently performs quarterly cafeteria hood cleaning/maintenance
I)Can the government provide the quantity of wet sprinkler systems, along with the last inspection reports?
Twelve (12) wet sprinkler systems. Sprinkler testing performed in-house April-May 2018. No inspection report available
J)Can the government provide the quantity of dry sprinkler systems, along with the last inspection reports?
Five (5) dry sprinkler systems. ISA completed inspection in August-September 2017. No inspection report available
