SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q.1 How many propane cylinders does the base own?

A.1 Approximately 60-65 cylinders are in use. They get moved around a lot so isn’t an exact count.

Q.2 How many cylinders do they need to store in each cage?

A.2 Per PWS 5.1.1, each storage cage should hold a minimum of eight (8) – 33lb cylinders. The current cages hold 9 such cylinders.

Q.3 Does the base use 125 gallons a month? Or 125 cylinders a month?

A.3 An Estimated 125 Gallons of Propane a month for a total of 1,500 Gallon as shown on CLINS 0020, 1020, 2020, 3020, and 4020.

Q.4 The Excel States 125, however the delivery locations in the solicitation on page 13/14 state 18 gallons/month for 7 sites – which would be 136 gallons/cylinders?

A.4 Seven (7) Sites at 18 Gallons per site is a total of 126 Gallons. This estimate, provided on the Table at 5.3.2 is to give an estimate of monthly delivery per location. The difference between 125 Gallons and 126 is a rounding difference. Please use 125 Gallons for pricing.

Q.5 Can an Economic Price Adjustment Clause be added in the event of market fluctuation during the contract?

A.5 The Provisions and Clauses included in W911N2-21-R-0002 have been reviewed and found to be legally sufficient for the requirement. It is determined by the Government this clause will not be added at this point in time.

Q.6 I would like to respectfully request if the Department of the Army can provide the incumbent name and last awarded contract dollar amount for subject RFQ.

A.6 The previous contract, W911N2-20-D-0012, was awarded to Vizocom ICT LLC, 1506 Constancia Way El Cajon, CA 92019 for a total contract value of $473,155.16.
