Text version

Request for Technical Literature

A. The bidder/offeror shall provide, with its bid/quote, descriptive literature that has previously been used to market the proposed Safety Gloves. The literature will be used to technically evaluate the bid and shall describe how the proposed safety gloves meets requirements of the specifications as referenced below:

2.0 Criteria

B. The industry usage, which must be addressed in the descriptive literature, are necessary to consider the bid responsive. If the bidder’s preprinted literature does not show all these features, the bidder/offeror must attach a letter of supplemental information to the literature describing in detail those required features.

C. The failure of descriptive literature to show that the product offered conforms to the requirements of this solicitation will require rejection of the quote.

D. Descriptive literature furnished under this solicitation that contains statements similar to ‘specification are subject to change without notice’, ‘bid/quote is subject to the following conditions’, or ‘prices are subject to change without notice’ shall not be considered for an award. The government has no assurance that products offered will conform to the specification; therefore, the bid is not considered a firm bid/quote and will not be considered for an award.
