Statement of Work For Safety Gloves

1.0 SCOPE

This specification establishes the requirement for safety gloves for Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) employees and tenants. This requirement is for a Base Year and 4 Option Years. The contractor shall provide safety gloves for the various glove types, sizes and features as indicated in Pricing Spreadsheet and Data Sheets.

The Contractor shall not proceed with any verbal or written change(s) to the scope of work from sources other than the Contracting Officer, who will provide changes in writing.

2.0 CRITERIA

2.1 Brand name or equal by the successful contractor shall be provided for this contract. Contractor shall provide technical literature that shows salient feature of brand name or equal gloves to include but not limited to materials of construction, sizes, and industry usage. The technical literature must show that the salient features of the equal/similar gloves are essentially the same in terms of materials of construction, industry usage and available size ranges.

2.2 Contractor shall provide brand name or equal gloves proposed for the duration of the contract. During course of contract period, if a particular glove becomes unavailable, a suitable glove with similar salient features shall be identified and approved by ANAD and the contractor. No substitutions will be authorized without prior approval by ANAD.

2.3 Quantities noted in the attached spreadsheet are estimates based on historical data and projected requirements. Actual quantities ordered will be based on employee fit and prescription needs.

In the event of a special condition where additional personnel is hired that significantly increases demand ANAD will provide advance notification to the Contractor.

3.0 DELIVERY:

The Contractor shall provide ANAD with the requested items that have been identified in the PR to building 421 after the contract has been awarded to:
