About this file

This document contains an amendment to a solicitation for dredging and navigation improvements in Petersburg, Alaska. The solicitation requires surveying, dredging, and disposal of approximately 83,000 cubic yards of material from harbor channels and basins in Petersburg. Dredged material must be placed in an approved water site pending EPA concurrence. The harbor must be surveyed before and after dredging completion. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the work in compliance with commercial standards and applicable federal, state, and local laws. The amendment changes the pre-bid conference date to March 31, 2022, requires performance and payment bonds within 10 days, and sets the bid due date for April 19, 2022.

The document provides further details on bond amounts, bid guarantees, equipment rates, questions and communications procedures, bid submissions, openings and evaluations. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Alaska is the issuing agency. A pre-award questionnaire for contractors and certifications for different business entity types are also included as appendices.
