SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

The following have been added by full text:

Chena Steel Q&A Solicitation W911KB-17-R-0042 Amendment 0001

13 April 2017

Q1: What is the total depth of the pipe to be driven for the 12" strainers?

A1: Target well depth is about 55ft.

Q2: The strainers generally come 20' lengths. They are a weld ring to weld ring style. How would you like the lengths configured, i.e. 20', 20', 5'?

A2: 20’, 20’, 5’ screen lengths welded together for a total length of approximately 45’ is acceptable.

Q3: On the fabricated well heads, when coping the 12" pipe to accept the "T", is there a tolerance on the hole size? For example, can the coped hole be 12" to accept to 12 3/4" pipe for welding purposes?

A3: Yes, the coped hole can be 12” to accept the 12 ¾ pipe for welding purposes.

Q4: What is the welding detail for connecting the 1” wall pipe to the ½” pipe on the casing material?

A4: 30 degree bevel on the ½ inch side with a full penetration root, and capped out with a full fillet on the 1” face. Root pass can be open root with 6010, and finished with 7018. Or a backer ring can be used and 7018 all the way out.

Q5: Is it acceptable for the casing material to be welded together to make 60ft lengths (shipping 60ft lengths from the lower 48 is not economical nor will it fit in the allowable time frame).

A5: Yes, the contractor can weld together casing to make the required 60ft lengths.

Q6: More design detail is needed for the well heads. Are these tee fittings or a shop fabricated tee?

A6: Shop fabricated.

(continued)

Q7: What is the applicable code for welding? This will define inspection requirements.

A7: AWS D.1-1

Q8: What type of Well Screen Centralizer is desired? Can more detail be provided aside from Stainless 12 inch?

A8: Fostco 12” HD Centralizers were used for previous well installs.

Q9: The timeline is very aggressive. Getting material here will likely take a minimum of 3 weeks from time it is ordered. Is there any leeway on the delivery timeline?

A9: The following well material items are needed by 20 May 2017: 12 “Riser Pipe, 24 “Casing, 12” slotted screen and screen centralizers. The well heads and the remaining weir materials are required by 1 August 2017.
