Repurpose 3rd Floor for ASAP OPS

a. Sign-In attendees

b. Description of Work: The purpose of this project is to repurpose the existing 3rd floor foot print by converting existing space into administrative space by: removing existing walls, patching and repainting floor and wall finishes, removing and capping off existing plumbing fixtures, constructing new walls, installing new ceiling tile finishes, and redefining existing spaces. This scope includes removal & replacement of existing door locksets, and installation and reinstallation of new data and electrical outlets, and upgrade of a 4th floor telecommunications room on the 4th floor of this building. This project includes removing all existing furniture in this footprint and relocating it to a storage location within a secondary location within the building.

- Side bars need to be kept to a minimum during the site visit as not to miss important information from the Program Manager.

- No paper copies of the specifications and/or drawings will be provided. This information is available via email or on the disk provided.

- All questions resulting from this meeting and site visit will be submitted in the form of a Request for Information (RFI). Any changes discussed here or the site will not be official unless an RFI is submitted.

- RFIs must be submitted through email. RFI’s shall be emailed to the Contract

Specialist. No RFIs should go to the program manager. RFIs will be consolidated and responses coordinated with the PM prior to issuing an amendment with the RFI responses.

- Any communication with the Program Manager and/or COR between this site visit and the award of the contract could cause your company to be ineligible for award.

- In accordance with FAR 52.236-6 you will have a superintendent on every job. The

QC is required to provide adequate quality control, but the superintendent must be on site whenever work is being performed. Please bid accordingly.

- When you turn in your proposal be sure to turn in the line item estimate like RS

Means.

- The site visit is your time and your subcontractors’ time to take all measurements and pictures, view the existing site conditions and conditions of area surrounding the job site. This is the only authorized visit to the job site. Please do not allow your subcontractors to group up and talk about other projects and/or outside business.

- If you need access to an area that is not accessible please bring it to my attention during this site visit and I will let the PM know.

e. Project Info:

a. Magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 (See FAR 36.204)

b. Period of Performance: 180 calendar days after NTP

c. Liquidated Damages: $848.71

f. Dates:

a. RFIs by email no later than 11:00 am on 30 August 2017

b. Amendment due to FBO 11 September

c. Bid Opening at 3:00 pm on 18 September 2017
