VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions as below.

Question 1. In this Solicitation, there are two locations, On Post and Off Post. Does it mean that we have to pick up and transport the Off Post's mattresses and box springs into the installations? or will the transportation be offered: all mattresses and box springs of Off Post will be delivered into the installations?

Answer 1. The Government will collect all items from On Post and Off post, and store at Yongsan and Camp Castle collection points. The Contractor shall pickup all items at. Yongsan and Camp Castle collection points Question 2. On the page 68 of the solicitation, as Prime Contractor's Prior Experience, it says "The offeror shall provide an evidence document of a minimum of two (2) years experience within the last five (5) years in the performance of same or similar type with its complexity and magnitude of experience of maintaining and repairing conveyor belt machines as of the opening date of the solicitation." We do not quite understand why such experience of maintaining and repairing conveyor belt machines is required for this contract. Does this imply that you are looking for offerors who are experienced both in mattress disposal and also in maintenance and repair of conveyor belt machines?

Answer 2. “experience of maintaining and repairing conveyor belt machines as of the opening date of the solicitation” shall be read to “experience of performing same or relevant of removal, transport, and disposal of the trash and waste services”.

Question 3. How many Mattresses and Box Spring in Camp Yongsan and Camp Casey

Answer 3: The total estimated quantities are shown in line items. The below is the approximation of the estimate.

Question 4: When could I remove the Mattresses and Box Springs in Camp Yongsan and Camp Casey? Quarterly, semiannually, monthly?

Question 5. How many trucks may I use for the solicitations?

Answer 5. The contractor shall determine the number of trucks and proper transportation based on the delivery order.

Question 6. Could I know the weight and dimension of each mattress and box spring?

Answer 6. Mattress sizes to be removed from Yongsan Garrison and Camp Casey are below:
