The Flight Control Part Task Trainer (FCPTT)The FCPTT is used to train system familiarization, Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs), and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs). The FCPTT is a hybrid design which incorporates a hardware-training device (HTD) consisting of a tandem cockpit (Pilot and Copilot/Gunner Longbow stations), Interface Panel (IP), Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and the Longbow Procedural Trainer (LPT). The trainer provides maintenance training under the following AH-64 tasks categories:

Integrated Pressurized Air System Part Task Trainer (IPASPTT)The Integrated Pressurized Air System Part Task Trainer (IPASPTT) is an operational device that simulates Longbow production aircraft operational systems. The IPASPTT is used to train pressurized air system familiarization and related Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs), and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs). The IPASPTT is a hybrid design which incorporates a hardware-training device (HTD), Interface Panel (IP), Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and the Longbow Procedural Trainer (LPT). The trainer provides maintenance training under the following AH-64 tasks categories:
•Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) procedures
•Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP)
•Switchology, Systems and Component Familiarization

The Environmental Control System Part Task Trainer (ECSPTT)The ECSPTT is used to train environmental control system familiarization and related Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs), and Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs). The ECSPTT is a hybrid design which incorporates a hardware-training device (HTD), Interface Panel (IP), Functional Environmental Control System (ESC1), Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and the Longbow Procedural Trainer (LPT). The trainer provides maintenance training under the following AH-64 tasks categories:
•Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) procedures
•Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP)
•Systems Functionality and Component Familiarization

Gun Part Task Trainer (GPTT).The AH-64 GPTT is one of the Apache training devices. The purpose of the GPTT is to develop the maintenance skills of Apache Maintainers. The primary training elements of the GPTT are the Hardware Training Device (HTD) and the Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT). The other elements of the GPTT are the seven safety fence sections, which restrict access to the Ammunition Handling System (AHS); and the Area Weapon System (AWS); the Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU), which supply the HTD with 3000 psi of hydraulics; and the Main Power Control, which supplies the GPTT with power from the facility. The HTD provides realistic training in ground maintenance operations and procedures.

Multiplex Part Task Trainer (MPTT).The Multiplex Part Task Trainer (MPTT) provides training on MIL-STD-1553B based avionics, aircraft communication systems and test equipment. MPTT capabilities include system familiarization, component identification, Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs), Fault Isolations Procedures (FIPs), and Remove/Install (R/I) tasks. The MPTT ‘table-top’ Hardware Training Device (HTD) includes a layout of avionics units, interconnection wiring, a circuit breaker panel, and oscilloscope and antenna test ports for connections to test equipment. In addition, the MPTT architecture includes a Virtual Interactive Environment (VIE) Station with a 55” monitor for virtual test equipment training and a Tablet Instructor Operator Station (IOS) for unobtrusive HTD instructor monitoring and control.

Apache Helicopter Maintenance Trainer (L-7AY).The Apache Helicopter Maintenance Trainer Multiplex, Avionics, Visionics, Weapons Electrical Systems Trainer-L7 (L-7AY) is a sophisticated maintenance trainer. Designed to provide training to both 15R (AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer) and 15Y (Armament/Electrical/Avionic Systems Repairer) students, the trainer has a fully functional Hydraulic system, ECS system, Pressurized Air system, Gun and Ammo Handling system, Flight Control system, Pylons and AIA (M-TADS/PNVS). Training tasks and supported systems include:
•Aircraft Systems: 20
•Fault isolation procedures supported: 326
•Maintenance operational checks: 97
•Removal and installation tasks: 240
•Additional Maintenance procedures, including the Captive Boresight Harmonization Kit (CBHK), hydraulic servicing, rigging, etc
