Questions and answers for the light weight, drop side, rail deck, gooseneck trailer W900KK-16-T-0009 solicitation:
1. Question: The specs do not call for a drop side rail trailer. Can we clarify the main beam size and side rail size?
a. Answer: The SD stands for side drop rail deck which is some 7" lower than the main I beams (22") which gets the loaded height down to 15.5" as needed. The criteria is to get at the lowest loaded height, as light weight as possible and still provide a 42.5 ton capacity within an 16' concentrated area.
2. How many axles is the trailer supposed to have, how many fixed axles and how many flip axles are there supposed to be?
a. Two fixed and one flip/removal
