Vendor Question (Supplemental)

#1: Can the Government please clarify how the evaluated price will be calculated? For example, the PWS includes a level of effort of 3,840 Tier II calls per year, but the CLIN pricing includes a unit price for 1-2,500 calls (call this unit price $x/call) and a unit price for 2,501-5,000 calls (call this unit price $y/call). Which of the formulas below will be used to calculate the evaluated price of tier II calls?

Method 1: (2,000 calls * $x/call) + (1,840 calls * $y/call) = evaluated price Method 2: 3,840 calls * $y/call = evaluated price

Government Response: The Government is seeking the best (fair and reasonable) price for each tier. In essence, the Government hopes to achieve lower prices per call, as the call volume increases. With this said, the Government would accept either method detailed above; however, the offeror must be very clear in their proposal as to how the pricing is to be calculated. The vendor shall determine the method with which their evaluated price is calculated in order to provide a fair and competitive price.

Note: In order to further clarify CLIN 0002, 1002, 2002, 3002, and 4002 pricing. The Government is providing the supplemtal clarification:

Vendors shall provide a total (1 Job) annual price per period of performance for Call Center Support under CLINS 0002, 1002, 2002, 3002, and 4002 by applying their proposed (per call) pricing and pricing methodology (using their method of choice) to the estimated monthly call volume provided by the Government in the LOE table in the RFP. This monthly price shall be multipled by the total number of months in the period of performance (12 months for CLINS 0002-3002, and 11 months for CLIN 4002) to derive a total annual price (displayed as 1 Job) for the total CLIN price for CLINS 0002-4002.
